Parent Programs

The HPTA Parent Programs Committee wishes everyone a safe and happy summer break. In conjunction with the National PTA, we urge you to make time to talk with your kids about safety and we encourage you to visit the National PTA site www.take25.org for “25 Things to Do as a Parent” — tips on how to talk to your kids about staying safer at home, on the Internet and in the community. Families of incoming Kindergarten students, be watching for details on our Kindergarten Playground Playdate, a casual gathering for children and parents on the back playground of Center School on a summer evening in late August. Then, don’t miss our New Parent Orientation in conjunction with the first HPTA General Meeting of the year, scheduled for late September or October. As always, we welcome your input.
