Studies show that children who study a second language at an early age perform better academically. Introduce your child to the Chinese and/or Spanish language by enrolling them in the Global Child program! Our classes are academic and fun!

Course Descriptions:

Beginning Spanish Lower-Introduces basic language concepts: Counting, colors, greetings and good-byes, snack vocabulary, body parts, active verbs and a few questions.

Theme, "Going Places"- "The telephone's ringing. Where shall we go? To a soccer match? A concert? The movies?" Children learn to talk to their friends by phone, take surveys, discuss their favorite sports, and answer in different ways the questions, "Where are you going? Who's going with you? What are you taking along?"

Beginning Chinese, Level I- Introduces basic language concepts in Mandarin, with the use of games, rhymes and skits. Culture will be introduced in each lesson as well as familiarization of the Chinese characters.

Our teachers have experience with children. They have been trained in the GLOBAL CHILD method, which introduces language through songs, movement, and skits. Our teachers are passionate about sharing their language!

For Spanish classes - Your Child will receive a Student Booklet and Audio CD for practice at home. There are "Fun Pages" in every booklet to help reinforce language skills. (Booklet and Audio CD included in the tuition, valued at over $20)

For Chinese classes - Your child will receive weekly handouts.

Class size is limited to 8-15 students.
