You may have heard of HPTAConnect and have been wondering what it is and whether you want to sign up. HPTAConnect is a private discussion forum and classifieds network for HPTA members only. It is completely optional and offers a variety of options for how often you want to receive emails from HPTAConnect depending on your personal preference:

  • Email every topic
  • Email daily digest (recommended)
  • Web only

Over 200 HPTA members are already signed up for HPTAConnect. Once you are signed up, you can post a message to the discussion forum by just sending an ordinary email to hptaconnect_general@lists.bigtent.com and it will go to the whole group. To post a classified ad, go to the group site and fill out the online form. You can join or leave the group at any time.

FAQ

I’m a HPTA Member, how do I access the HPTAConnect group site?
The free discussion forum we use contains some ads over which we have no control. Therefore in order to comply with the district’s advertising policy, we do not make a link to the group site from the HPTA website. There should be a link to HPTAConnect in every HPTA Correspondence weekly email for members. Check the right sidebar column under the “Connect with us” header. Or feel free to send an email to the HPTAConnect administrator at rarora05@gmail.com and he can email you right back with the link or send you an invitation to join the group.

I’m not a HPTA Member, how do I sign up?
Click here to Join the HPTA. Annual dues are $15/family or $7.50/teacher. There will be a link to HPTAConnect in the confirmation email you receive after becoming a HPTA member and in every weekly HPTA Correspondence email after that.
