The weather may still be too hot for baking, but when it comes to working for the schools, the HPTA never stops cooking. The organization's members are dedicated to enriching the public school experience for Hopkinton's children. ![]() HPTA Enrichment Program - Yoko Watkins The HPTA provides essential support to the schools through direct service volunteer work and advocacy throughout the year. But the work provided by this award-winning group of community members is dependent on the generous financial donations made by Hopkinton residents throughout the year. Your contribution to the No Bake Sale is one of the essential ingredients for a terrific school year for the over 3400 children enrolled in Hopkinton Public Schools for the 2007-08 school year. This event is the kick-off for the HPTA's annual fundraising efforts. While many of the group's fundraisers target families with children in the schools, the No Bake Sale is supported by a wider group of residents who want to invest in the town's schoolchildren. please Questions? Contact Cindy Bernardo The HPTA's $130,000 budget for the 2007-08 school year will support a broad range of programs and activities within the schools, including $60,000 in enrichment programs on curriculum-based topics. The organization aims to provide the essential cultural and educational experiences that enrich students' learning in Hopkinton. The HPTA's membership changes over the years, as families grow and enter different stages of development. But the dedication HPTA members have for the children of the community has only grown stronger as new members build on the groundwork laid by their predecessors and respond the needs of our growing community. |
